2. Hosting and technical access data
Mining Tracker is self-hosted in Germany. When the service is accessed, technically necessary connection and server data may be processed in order to deliver the website, maintain operational security and diagnose technical faults.
Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of the service.
3. User account
For a Mining Tracker account, information such as the email address, username and account settings is processed. An optional full name is stored in encrypted form.
Language, time zone, preferred fiat currency and display settings may also be stored as part of the user profile.
Processing is carried out for provision of the requested service on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
4. Mining pool connections
Users can connect supported Bitcoin mining pools to Mining Tracker. Credentials required for the selected pool are stored in encrypted form and are transmitted only to the respective pool when necessary to retrieve the data requested by the user.
Mining Tracker stores and processes mining data retrieved in this way, such as pool statistics, rewards, payouts, transaction identifiers and, where provided by the pool, Bitcoin payout addresses. The purpose is monitoring, documentation, historical evaluation and export within the user's account.
Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
5. Email delivery
Mining Tracker sends operational emails, for example registration invitations and password reset messages. Email delivery is performed via the SMTP service provided by goneo. The recipient address and the data required for delivery are transmitted to the email provider.
Processing is carried out for provision of account functions on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
6. Cloudflare Turnstile
The public registration is protected against automated abuse using Cloudflare Turnstile. Turnstile is provided by Cloudflare and performs a technical verification of whether a request originates from a human user or automated software.
When the registration page is used, a connection
to Cloudflare is established and technical data
required for the security check may be processed
by Cloudflare. Mining Tracker does not
additionally transmit the visitor's IP address
to Cloudflare via the optional server-side
remoteip parameter.
The use of Turnstile serves to protect the registration function and the service against misuse. Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
7. Content Delivery Network (jsDelivr)
Mining Tracker loads certain technical frontend resources, such as stylesheets, JavaScript libraries and icon resources, via the jsDelivr Content Delivery Network (CDN).
When these resources are loaded, the visitor's browser establishes a direct connection to the infrastructure used by jsDelivr. In doing so, technical connection data, including the IP address and information transmitted by the browser, may be processed.
The use of jsDelivr serves the reliable, performant and maintainable delivery of technical website resources. Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure and efficient provision of the website.
8. Cookies and local storage
Mining Tracker uses only technically necessary mechanisms for functions such as sessions, protection against cross-site request forgery (CSRF) and language selection. They are required to provide the service securely and in the form requested by the user.
No advertising or marketing cookies are used by Mining Tracker.
9. Storage and deletion
Personal data is retained only for as long as it is required for the respective purpose, for the operation of the account or to comply with applicable legal obligations. Data that is no longer required is deleted or anonymised where possible.
10. Recipients
Personal data is disclosed only where this is necessary to provide the requested function. This may include the mining pool selected by the user, the email service used for message delivery, Cloudflare for abuse protection during registration and jsDelivr for the delivery of technical frontend resources.
11. Your rights
Subject to the applicable legal requirements, data subjects have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. They also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority.
